Metropolitan Info-Park

This proposal for an information park in the Dongdaemoon area of Seoul, Korea was developed from of a research project done during January and February 2005. The concept is to redesign the area's two stadiums to complement the very active retail area that surrounds them. The stadiums would be redeveloped as an "Information Park", a large scale venue that antegrates information technologies and displays with traditional features of outdoor park space. The name "PARK" is an acronym for a Public Augmented Reality "Know-place" [Knowledge Place]

The project appeared in the May 2005 Issue of Konggan (trans. "Space") [below].
